Dr. Trierweiler attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate and dental school education. During her undergraduate years, she sat on the board of the University of Michigan Predental Association and served as President during her senior year. She spent her first six years practicing at a dental clinic catering to the underserved in Grand Rapids, further cultivating her love for helping others. She joined 44 West Dental Professionals in 2016 with Drs. Doublestein and Wierenga. She currently serves on the PR Committee for the West Michigan District Dental Society and is also an active member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.
Dr. Trierweiler is from Grand Rapids originally and attended Forest Hills Northern High School. Currently, she lives on the northeast side of Grand Rapids with her husband, David. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, reading, and hiking with her husband and dog, Remy. She has been a lifelong Michigan football fan, having grown up with her father as an alum and spending eight years there herself. She is also actively involved in her church.
“When I was in high school and started thinking about what I wanted to do when I ‘grew up,’ I considered some of the things that I most enjoyed: art, science and helping people. My Aunt was my hygienist and after spending some time in her office, I discovered that dentistry could uniquely combine these passions and knew it would be a perfect fit. I love the variety that
general dentistry provides and helping patients achieve a confident and comfortable smile. Being a dentist requires precision and attention to detail, but another big part that I enjoy is getting to know patients and helping them to feel comfortable in the dental chair. This patient-centered approach makes each day enjoyable and fulfilling and I am so thankful for the opportunity to practice dentistry with the amazing team at 44 West Dental.”
